Ranch Horses

Raising and training horses has been something our family has taken pride in for many years. Running cattle in the Cascade Mountains, primarily by horseback, has proven to require versatile, dependable, hardy, well-minded horses with plenty of endurance that the whole family can utilize. We try to meticulously pine over our mares’ confirmation, demeanor, and work ethic in contrast to possible studs to determine what cross is going to have the best odds of producing a colt that will physically and mentally meet our goals, and that we ourselves would be proud to ride.

Not only do we offer weanlings, but we often have broke ranch horses, barrel horses, rope horses, and trail horses available as well. Our horses are often kept in herd settings where they learn the pecking order, to cross water, and to navigate rough terrain, all helping to make our jobs easier!
